If you hit the pro button under One Plans comment you can contact One Plan directly for professional advice. If you read One Plans reviews and various plugs from Houzzers it may well be worth it. Given this was 2 houses it may also help to have some professional help to see if anything could be done to improve the flow and general layout of the house rather than just furnish the rooms. Alternatively if you want an attempt at some amateur help (mrsmcee, am speaking about myself not you!) , I think you will need to draw a plan with exact measurements, ŵall alcoves?, windows, doors, fireplace, room openings, light fittings etc otherwise it's really quite difficult. I attempted to draw a plan for your living room last night but was just guessing at the rooms dimensions being 23ft x37ft but it didn't look that wide in the pic. I also noticed you've had a light installed over the dining table so I assume the table has to go here, and the same for your seating arrangement? The foyer should be quite easy but need pics of where the fireplace is (although could probably guess on that looking at the plan!). Photos of each room from different angles would also really help. What by the way is room E on the plan? I hope that helps!

I was a die hard F&B fan - painted numerous houses solely in F&B for the finish etc. HOWEVER due to budget constraints, a current offer at Homebase on Dulux paint (inc. mix) , and the fact i'm painting an entire 3 storey house i experimented with colour matching F&B colours - specifically Cornforth White, Purebeck Stone, Ammonite and Pink Ground. Opting for the Endurance Matt and Flat Matt finishes by Dulux i was pleasantly surprised by the results. The colour match was pretty much spot on - i would caveat that the Dulux colour match won't produce matching finishes for all colours. For example Dulux couldn't match a flat eggshell in the Cornforth White so we bought Estate Eggshell from F&B and it goes perfectly well with the walls in the matched Dulux Endurance Matt. In the master bedroom we choose to use F&B Cornforth White and Pink Ground and estate emulsion and I felt it was a thinner paint than the Dulux! The added benefit of the Dulux colour match is that they can provide a number of different more durable finishes. If you want colour inspiration have a look at Paint & paper Library too.

One possible solution. It gives you the bath and shower in one unit behind the door away from the window as well as the sink and WC of course. Admittedly a little tight on plan at the end of the shower bath but your upper body and arms would be free to move over the end of the bath and into the window recess, and your feet, whether standing or sitting, would always be in front of the WC where you have more space. The sink has plenty of space around it with room for a towel rail adjacent. The sanitary where is all taken from the Ideal Standard website but you could use any manufacturer - the point is it can be done. I would also make the glazing obscure, if it is not already, by using an after market stick on film cut to size. You can get plenty of patterns or just frosted. You could also add blinds as previously suggested. Note: any proposed layout could be affected by the proximity of your existing foul water drainage - just bear that in mind.

Product Design - best subject ever ;) As to your project - are you talking about a permanent fixture or something that could be mobile? Who are you aiming this product at - people who potter, or professionals? Is it a luxury product or a more economical model? Could it be a modular piece that could be added to in stages? What will it hold - full size rakes, forks, spades etc or just hand tools, or both? Could the working element (fork/rake etc) be interchangable with a single handle? Think about how that might work (or not) practically. Go to a few garden centres, see how they display their garden tool ranges - notice how some more luxury models are displayed differently to the regular models - what makes the difference? Take photos. Document the research. And talk to a few gardeners - what tools do they use the most? (Me - the secateurs, rake and the bin/wheelbarrow). Make up a simple questionairre, distribute it to friends and neighbours (or their parents!) Perhaps list a couple of rough options to choose from and get participants to choose a favourite, giving reasons why. As good quality tools can lifetime they would be considered naturally environmentally friendly - avoid plastic if possible or practical. Oh and make sure you presention boards & documents are flawless. Check that spelling. Use lots of illustrations and diagrams. Show it’s an amazing product - it should sell itself.
