A TV room that is unapologetically moody and made for grown ups only. The walls and ceiling are drenched in deep green blue tones, cocooning the space in rich atmospheric colour. Tobacco accents add warmth and depth whilst the bespoke rug anchors the space with intention, guiding the eye and framing the furniture. This is a space for slow evenings, cinematic escapes and quiet luxury.

The snug is directly connected to the kitchen and designed as an open, kid-friendly space. We used the owners’ sofa here so accidental spills wouldn’t cause a major issue. To future-proof the space, we introduced two fireplace alcoves creating useful games storage, with a small bar area for entertaining.

A warm and inviting living room for all the family to enjoy. Bespoke joinery designed by Zophia Scarlett Interiors frames the contemporary fire and TV Elevation. Other considerations made were the fabric choices - naturally stain resistant to be able to cope with family life.

Central to the project is a spacious new kitchen, dining, and living area created as part of a generous rear and side extension. dining and living area was envisioned as the vibrant heart of the home, offering a generous, light-filled environment that opens onto the south-facing garden. A refined palette of jewel tones-teal, tan, and orange-was introduced through furnishings and lighting, injecting warmth and personality into the space. Rich walnut slatted timber defines the media wall, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth green and cream built-in joinery.

The double-height entrance hall, framed with honey oak beams, features a sleek walnut staircase with glass balustrades, setting a luxurious tone upon arrival. The living room features oak floor joists, adding warmth and character, while the impressive fireplace, built using the door jams from the original longhouse, serves as a striking centrepiece. French doors open out to the fields, making it the perfect space to unwind in the evenings. The home’s design harmonises perfectly with the natural landscape. The eastern elevation captures the sun, while panoramic honey oak apex windows allow light to flood into the cosy bedrooms, creating a luxurious hotel-like ambiance with a countryside twist. The bespoke chandelier, commissioned specifically for the double-height entrance hall, adds a touch of grandeur and is perfectly framed by the surrounding oak and glass. Every detail has been meticulously considered, from the lighting choices and colour schemes to the hidden man cave and feature walls, creating a home that is both practical and aesthetically stunning. The home’s natural honey-coloured stone exterior blends seamlessly with the landscape, giving the appearance of a property that has stood in its location for centuries. Removing the curtains from the front facing window to re use them in the cinema room. Creating a bespoke screen primarily for privacy but the solution also adds interest, colour and pattern. Adapting the existing built in shelving to incorporate the all important TV, removing shelves and giving it a sleeker and more contemporary feel. Adding in bronze metal trims and new handles. Creating shelving in an original doorway to add character and purpose.

Just off the kitchen in this expansive open-plan home, the media room has been designed as a calm and inviting retreat. The colour is just right for relaxed movie nights with family and friends. We created this space to strike a balance between high functionality and a soft, romantic aesthetic. Our timeless PF Lay-On Shaker cabinetry brings structure in a floor-to-ceiling style and is hand-painted in Farrow & Ball’s Sulking Room Pink. This romantic, muted rose is far from overtly pink, a more powdery hue that pairs effortlessly with other tones in the palette. Built into a naturally lit room, the media unit benefits from abundant daylight thanks to a striking skylight and expansive glass doors. The floor-to-ceiling design features open shelving around the perimeter for display, closed cabinets for hidden storage, and a central open section designed to frame a large television perfectly. The rich bronze finish of the Corston Milliner knobs complements the warmth of the cabinetry, and the discreet integrated lighting enhances the mood, making the room feel intimate and inviting when the lights dim for a film.
