Imperfect Interiors

Imperfect Interiors are exceptional - I could not recommend them highly enough. We’ve worked with them across several years on our project and they’ve been a pleasure to work with both in terms of manner and outcomes. We are so happy with the result - it really feels like our home & Imperfect Interiors nailed the brief that we set out. They are creative, flexible, organised and reliable. I never felt like I was being forced in a direction I didn’t want to go in or towards e.g. expensive options only. It’s been so great to work with someone who helps to maximise value and get to the best outcome overall - knowing where it’s important to spend, but also where highstreet brands do the job just as well. I would certainly use Imperfect Interiors on any project we were to embark on in the future.

Beth and Jess were amazing, we would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing a renovation. They listened carefully to our vision, providing suitable options and choices at a range of price points. Beth has amazing connections with trusted suppliers and can source some great items which you wouldn't be able to yourself. Both Beth and Jess are really organised and attentive to any requests or changes. They arranged for all of our furniture to arrive on the same day and set it up for us so we came home to a virtually new house. We are super happy with the results, and would thoroughly recommend working with them.

We could not recommend Beth and Imperfect Interiors more. She was an absolute pleasure to work with over a year plus long project, and without her input and guidance, we wouldn’t have finished to time, nor with such a beautiful and well planned home as a result. Trying to be as concise as possible!: - Beth was invaluable during the planning phase, practically thinking through every aspect of electrical plans, and how we would use each room eg perfect placement of bathroom furniture. - A wonderful style with us, gently pushing us to be a bit more adventurous in places with design, but always recognising we had to be comfortable with every decision. - Fantastic ability to work with every contributor to our project, nudging/challenging where needed to keep us on track but in such a polite and friendly manner. - Beth was great at mixing beautiful pieces across the high street and designers to create a seamless design within budget. Also fab at the trade off between beauty and practicality, recognising our home needed to be resilient with two young boys! We couldn’t be happier- thank you for helping us create our perfect home.

Long and varied project - maybe not a standard engagement as we had a lot of pieces of furniture, rugs, art and sculpture that needed to work around and be fitted in the new space. We had string ideas on what we wanted, liked and did not like but also had a list of things we wanted. The space itself was a mix of Victorian and modern - interesting old property and big rooms to work with. Beth understood what we wanted and helped us with everything from mood boards for each room to help land paint colours, soft furnishing and where things may go, including sourcing tiles and everything in between to finishing as we needed. We challenged her a fair bit with our brief but we also were willing to look at and for different things, Our love for colour, texture, and variety gave us plenty of options to be creative. We enjoyed the collaboration, the ideas, she had to work with two sets of strong opinions which she dealt with very well and knew what would and would not work. We really love the end result - it’s a great home and we love everything about it. It’s been a hugely fun project and I think one she can be pleased with too. Big thank you.

Beth has helped us over the last 2 years with the design and then build process of our house renovation and extension project and I can honestly say that we could not have done it without her! Her input has been invaluable, from practical points around lighting, layout and function to her eye for style and design that prevented us making expensive mistakes. Beth is great on knowing where to spend the budget and where to save and she has her address book of suppliers who always make time for her and her clients. I had strong ideas on what I wanted the house to look and feel like so I used Beth as a sounding board to edit my ideas and to help me make decisions when there were too many options. Whilst she has her own taste, Beth is brilliant at understanding what her clients would like and adapting her designs/recommendations. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Beth is very professional and responsive, always meets deadlines and is meticulous in recording notes of meetings and creating information packs for tradespeople and builders. This meant there was never a last minute panic about anything and I knew I would always get a timely, considered response to my queries and messages. I highly recommend Imperfect Interiors.

We cannot recommend Beth from Imperfect Interiors highly enough! Very rarely do people exceed our expectations to such a degree, but Beth really was the glue that held the whole project together - not the architect nor the primary contractor. Post Brexit and during Covid, she really made all the difference between success and failure on what was a very challenging (at times!) refurbishment of a double aspect, Victorian Villa on the Isle of Wight. Her impeccable organisationals skills, eye for detail and amazing style have delivered the forever home we always wanted. Without Beth, I have no doubt that the project would have been an expensive failure. We cannot thank her enough!

We had a mini consultancy with Beth and Jessica to help with colours and interior furnishings for our home renovation project which is starting this summer. We were so pleased with the service from our initial zoom meeting to an in-person meeting. Beth and Jessica thought of everything and gave us new ideas and helped on layouts, lighting and finishes. We now feel confident that we have everything chosen for our home renovation project. We are thrilled with their service and I cannot recommend them enough!

Beth has been amazing to work with from the beginning of our project to the finish. Beth listened from the initial consultation, came to us with ideas, suggestions, and listened to our feedback which made the project fun and engaging and low stress. Beth was so patient and easy to work with. She held my hand through the entire process and was constantly in touch to check that it was going ok and how we all were as the builders got to work and the dust started to fly! I have had so many compliments from people about the colours and styles in/of the various rooms and always have to admit that not much of it was down to me. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I had a mini consultation with Jessica which consisted of a zoom call followed by a site visit. Jessica was lovely to work with and really helped me to finalise decisions about paint colours, flooring, lighting and hardware for a kitchen/utility/downstairs loo and snug. I was becoming overwhelmed by all the many options but she had a clear vision and we covered so much in a relatively short time. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Beth and Jessica were brilliant in helping us to give our home the style it’s been lacking for some time. They did so much work in such a short space of time, through the initial call and in-person consultation, to understand what we wanted (when not even we were sure ourselves!) and to put together a very user-friendly set of recommendations. Jessica and Beth were incredibly helpful with our new house renovation project!
