Reply to: Greetings.The wood was a rather sad looking 2nd grade American red oak...I treated it with Rubio fumed pretreatment then oiled with a blend of their Havana and Light grey oil to sub due the pink tones in the wood. The attached photo shows the pretreatment going on prior to oiling.
