Very important to remember - Location, Location, Location!
It should not be right over the range (like in the pic that someone posted above) because it will get too hot to touch, during cooking and will get all greasy, so you'll constantly have to clean it...
It should be installed off to the side, were it can reach the pot. It doesn't need to fill every pot on the burner - you can decide which burner to use for large pots or simply slide the pot over.
