Kitchen 2.0
Muted contrasting colors make this space feel warm without requiring too much overly colorful, loud pieces. Seems easy to look at the whole space and feel like you're not missing details.
Great, simple ceiling detail. The dark counters work well in the space, the flooring is warm and doesn't really interact with the rest of the design. That's not the goal we're trying to achieve - I'd like the floor to complement the color choices for those big pops of color
Really cool counter. The oversized sink basing seems great for a large island - more people can participate
The simplicity here is very pleasing.
I really like this unique countertop styling (the large bridging piece)
Two Islands with bi-evel countertops seems to compliment each contrasting side because they tops wrap in, keeping any hot splashes in the cooking area
I think the color choices here mix excellently - the orange fixture complimenting the sofa bench. I like the seating integration. Its' not sit-up, but our space is fairly large - I was thinking maybe sit-up eating bar along the long side of the Island and the a small, half-round bench for 1-2 people, maybe 3 small people squeezing in.
Thin, long basing prep sink in the island.
Love the contrasting ceiling. Warm flooring with the stool choices seal the deal on this design.
Nice contrast on the Island with the rest of the cabinets. I really like the sleek, slate-style tile flooring. I like how the back wall has it's own color - it makes the whole design more sophisticated.
I really like this sandy counter top. Against the darker cabinets, again the contrast makes the island pop, and despite the fact that the rest of the space seems somewhat stark or plain, the warm wood notes really complete the design (with the addition of the lighting fixtures, of course!)
I really like the Island here - very cool tones and interesting countertop color - very pretty.
Fantastic Fixtures! Awesomely huge island! Clean look, but it needs some color.
Color opposites, great fixture above the table.
I like the bi-level counter getting lower for a sit-up eating space.
The bright lighting choices combined with the light countertops and light lower cabinetry really brightens the space well and is a great contrast to the dark flooring and the dark upper cabinets. Without the litany of bright lighting, I think the space would look too dark. I like the waterfall edges.
Contrasting Island and sit-up eating looks great.
I like the waterfall edges. That backsplash is amazing! O - I do not like that back splash in white. I've seen it in a different color that I've maybe liked once before but that's it. waterfall edge on island is great, everything else is a no for me. - J
I like the waterfall edges. O... Like the waterfall edge, ability to eat at the island, and back splash. Not a fan of the flooring, dark drawers colors or the color contrast of the dark wood against the white drawers.
That backsplash is amazing! I like how the light browns with the white counters seems earthy with the plants added.
Love the Island! the long prep basin, the lighting fixture over the island, the funky backsplash makes a stark contrast to the rest of the space. o - i like the island counter and thin prep sink. Like the storage space underneath but do want to see the stove top/oven in the island itself. not a huge fan of the color of the drawers. lighting i s cool for this kitchen not sure I 'd want such a large clustered effect in ours. -J
I like the earthy tones in this design. Waterfall Edge is nice. O - Not a fan of the earth tones, I do like the waterfall look, would like to see stove and prep sink in iland. I do not like the clustering of the edison bulbs inside a greenhouse, although I do like edison bulbs.
I really like the appliance integration. O ...
Ceiling Detail is nice, the island seems to be gray in this white room - it's a little stark, but the white marble counter-top make the island stand out. -O ... I like the lighting, the length of the island, ability sit and eat but would like to be able to cook and serve from the island as well. - J
Sit-up eating on a level counter, simple and clean, but lacks some color. O - I like being able to eat the island. prep sink and island counter color. not a fan of the of theatre lighting. little too stark for me.
I don't know-Oscar(Ask Jas)
The room is large, but the giant partition doesn't take away from the open-ness, still has a pass through, and enough color integrated with the natural wood to make the space engaging despite how bare it is.
sink in island,
