Reply to: With the bright white glass mosaic tile I used Mapei's "Avalanche". It was the brightest white grout I could find from several manufacturers. My guest bath takes it's inspiration from Staceyneil's master bathroom project. The shower shelves are not set yet.

Reply to: Rachel - wow this was so long ago. Anyway here are 2 photos, We did extend the tile and we out the niche on the short wall across from shower head. The tile guy did a terrible job on the niche and one fo these days we will redo it. But happy with the overall tile placement. It's a dreary dark morning here and this bathroom doesn't have a window and is off a hallway so not much light. Hope these help.

Reply to: The height of the sconce has more to do with where you want the light than vanity height or ceiling height , a common misconception. If you prefer the light to light your face, the bulb height should be at eye level or no more than 5" above. Otherwise you will be looking up into the bulb and will have shadows on you face.....this is a typical wrong placement. But you must also keep this in mind when selecting the right size sconce.
