Reply to: flat walls in a kitchen? bad idea. eggshell minimum. satin better. do the trim in semi or gloss. trim should be Simply White. why are you doing the walls white? why not a soft blue or gray?? you need some contrast on the walls, especially around the window. looks too washed out. If you do that portion the same color as the cabinets, it won't look good. pick a color! I'd do something like the steel gray or winter gates around the window area and maybe the piece over the stove.

Reply to: This is off the Kohler Website: ALMOND on top BISCUIT underneath: The Biscuit seems light enough that if you pair it with anything other than white, it will essentially read as white. If you wanted to do something relatively monochromatic how about some of the textile looks by Daltile Kimona Silk in White Orchid (the mosaic is pictured with drawn in grey groutlines) Or Daltile Fabrique in Creme Linen.

Reply to: Thank you everyone! I appreciated all the opinions. I did find this that complimented the fixtures while looking last week. I do want to go out today and finalize it today. There are times that I just want to block out the color of the fixtures and pick what I like but then get worried. So,palimpset's comment does her me. I also did look at the linen-looking tiles and liked them. So, I do have another option. Thank you Sophie for also having me see the negatives in marble. I also have 2 kids so I know that this bathroom will be really used. I do like the Creme marble too. So happy to have options!
