Bathrooms
A low curb for the shower is a great idea because future accessibility problems can be easily avoided with a ramp, but I also like the photo because, like in our master bathroom, the toilet is close to the bathing appliance (though in our case, it's a bathtub. When I think about our bathroom, I wonder if we can't do a glass wall and door that goes across in front of both tub and shower. I had dismissed the idea because of the closeness of the toilet, but seeing this picture makes me re-think the feasibility of that.
Not the tile, but the framing of the mirrors is what interests me.

Curbless may be a great idea, but low curb may be the best we can have
shower ideas and . . . problem with curbless shower
Couldn't do curbless, but put in a slab of quartz to match the vanity countertop.

This is what accompanied this picture: Gone are the days of boring beige prefabricated shower bases. More and more, I’ve been using shower systems that have modern, clean bases made out of acrylic or porcelain. Don’t overlook other options for your shower floor.
This picture accompanied advice to use something solid like stone or quartz for the shower sill.
