Although the wood is lighter than I'd prefer, I like the contrast of the wood and the solid color cabinets.

I like the open layout. This could also be an interesting layout if we are unable to remove all the kitchen walls. We could still move the bulk of the kitchen to the island/back wall and leave the side wall where the oven currently is as a stand alone set of cabinets.

I like the open feel of this Kitchen. I want a Kitchen where I can sit with Matt while he cooks and not be in his way. I also want to start learning to cook and help Matt in the Kitchen. Right now this isn't possible w/o being in his way. I also like the built in appliances. I would like a Wine cooler (ours has always been broken) and I would like a built in coffee maker appliance if possible. This would be an appliance that can grind coffee beans and produce coffee/espresso. I am not interested in any milk features or frothing. This would be to produce black coffee.

I like the wood ceiling. I also love that the kitchen opens out facing the main living space. I wonder if we could knock out all our kitchen walls and have the kitchen face the living room?

I love the wood. I like walnut. I like the continuous grain. Should the wood match the floors?

I really like the grays. I like the idea of an open kitchen with an island, instead of having a physical room for the Kitchen.

The white is a bit much, but I like the ceilings and the statement piece in the ceiling. I don't like our ceilings now. I know we can't make them higher...

I like the way the kitchen comes close with the glass window/door (like we want in our unit) as well as the wall divider that we will have to work around.
