Hi, Its was a lot of work, but well worth the time and effort. We first built the boxes, will them with garden soil, put a screen to avoid soil coming out once we hang the boxes. and then we added the succulents one, by one. into the screen, make sure you get the holes no more than 1/2" this way you can contain the soil and the succulents in place.
