I like the minimal look. I feel like with our kids and all the neighbor kids, we need to think minimal in the front yard. This is minimal, but still beautiful.

This is the bloodgood. Was it pruned to grow with the spaces between foliage? I am concerned about blocking too much light from the girls' room. If the coral bark will work with our colors, I think I prefer the coral bark maple.

I think this is it! what I was refering to as "mini bamboo". Equisetum. Love it.
