I like the floor color (light) and the ceiling in the sloped areas of the project (darker, but warm) as a nice contrast. Also, the grey of the kitchen cabinets

I like the fireplace being this dark material. I would rather not just have a continuation of the concrete exterior / interior - I think that's too much

Note how the siding is used to make sense of the level ceiling over the kitchen, and the sloped ceiling over the living area. Something like this make sense for kitchen? Playroom (that we want to be able seal off)?

Interesting use of wood siding, complements the floor, and interesting ceiling elements. Also, note the wet bar on the left side ... potential to do something similar by the shower room?
