Interesting pergola idea--creates spaces that can be covered for shade. Thought it was interesting that not all of them are covered. This is similar to the pergola by my office, but a more achievable design.

Don’t like so many cactus plants but I do like the use of a few large pots in the landscape for interest and as a sculptural component

Nothing I like about this but it reminds me that if we add retaining walls to keep them simple maybe concrete so we can mosaic them ourselves.
