Extend tile to backsplash?

Nice shower floor. Large format tiles on wall = fewer grout lines = easier to clean. Would look nice with a wood look tile floor.

Could do this with a different floor -- slate gray tile, wood-look tile -- that's easy to clean. White bead board 3/4 way up the wall with blue paint (I'd go with something other than baby blue), a white counter material if you want.

Love the blue with the black and white. Marble floor is gorgeous but probably pricey. I don't know if it is harder to clean. You could do a really classic black and white or gray and white basket weave tile instead. The bead board on the wall is pretty. Decorate with black and white pictures of the kids or from your wedding.

Curbless shower entry makes everything feel bigger. Vanity doesn't have much storage, though.

More traditional. This color blue as an accent is pretty with the more grey wood vanity. Shiplap might add a fun texture, but I always wonder if it's going to go out of style.

Amazing tile! The subway tiles will be cheap, and the floor tiles will be midrange. The shower tiles are going to be more expensive, but you won't need many, so might be worth the splurge. Black and white never go out of style. This would work well with a wood vanity. Probably white walls, no wallpaper. Could bring in color with towels, art?

Picture this with a smaller vanity. Interesting way to do lights, but would still use overhead lights. Round or oval mirror adds an interesting shape. Could do a shelf over toilet for decoration rather than storage, or just hang an awesome picture. This would look great with white, blue or slate gray floors.

Could find a similar wood vanity that offers more storage and extends to the floor (no cleaning underneath!) with white tile in an interesting pattern and slate gray tile floor. Mirror, shower and sink faucet are all mixed metals.
