This is the most used room - especially in winter- should be cozy and inviting- low maintenance- soft cushy couches, with stain resistant fabric- attached pillows, no throw pillows to be thrown- no coffee table- integrated side tables for drinks etc. would be good.

The big point for Mark in this room is what to do with the big wall that currently has the elk head- the elk will stay- but an interesting design with wood, metal, leather? needs to be made. I like this wall- but hate the light and accessories

This the 90 degree angle our builtins currently have- I don't like the bench feel- the book shelf behind couch is interesting idea- would it be a place to set a drink or bowl of popcorn or would that be awkward?
