clean railing - dark colors mixed with wood. Don't care for stairs just like the rail.

Love the built in shelving in the stairs!! WE could do this same type of idea as I'm always wanting to buy something to go here - maybe it would be better if some had doors so it was better utilized for dining room - but could also be a neat area for design.
Would like the same in lighter wood
