We liked the to the ceiling cabinets and the coffee bar in this kitchen.
If we needed to keep the peninsula, this was just an example. We prefer an island and no peninsula.
We like the mix of color, white, and natural wood. An island that seats 3-5 would be great.

Like the colors here and the enclosed fridge. Too much open shelving. Pretty, but not functional for us.
Place we stayed north of Galveston with cabinets and a peninsula we liked.
This may be a thought for our pantry. Shelving up top and some cabinets, enclosed storage, or even mini-fridges down below.
Like this color scheme. Probably want a little more color in the backsplash, but could be talked into white on white. Like the hood. Like the black counter on stove side and like pendants.
Same color scheme we are leaning toward. Not a a fan of bright brass. If we did brass, it would need to be brushed and more muted.

We like the boxed vents instead of the full metal vents. Probably wouldn't want to go with gray on the island. Like the alternating counter colors as well.
