I like the idea of wood accents (floating shelves, hood) and then off white main cabinetry and a color island (not grey tho, something warmer, to compliment white oak or something like that). The barnwood look of the hood is cool, but not sure it would go with our style.

Love the island seating arrangement, floating shelves in wood, the hood here is cool and simple and I like the backsplash tile up to the ceiling around the windows and behind the floating shelves. I also like the lighting over the windows, but not in the black farmhouse color.
