I like the wood in the shelving area /the white cement board, and the concrete gray color - on this design I’d take the cement board all the way down painted creamy white, and have the hearth be dark concrete Grey

I like the way the hearth extends to the base of the would-be reading nook on left & shelves on the right.
Extended hearth. Dark color might help the TV blend in. Stone accents nice touch.
