Mudroom
Two photos below reflect possible ideas for opening up the front entry closet into a mini-mudroom. But that would not give us enough "mud room" storage so need to find some additional space. Other photos of cubbies and cabinets reflect ideas for something we could possibly work into the family room. Either along back wall if we eliminate the current closets or inside the existing closet by the door if we keep the closets. If the space is open to the family room, closed cabinets might be better to decrease appearance of clutter. Also like the idea of a drop zone/desk area, but that may not be feasible, especially if we keep the pantry. Drop zone not essential. Coat/shoe/bag/etc. storage is. These photos generally reflect styles, colors and materials that I like.
