Like the way paper towel roll is tucked away yet handy. Place this so that space behind it is used: end of a cab run, or vertically in wasted part of a corner cab, or in front of a trash & garbage chute through counter.

An undercounter composting unit like this one means you can just wipe all of your food waste off the counters and into your bin before it goes out to the garden. Put one in your countertop where you do most of your prep work.--> takes up counter space, so maybe better to put cutting board & compost under countertop.

If need to break up cabs, could use art glass or such like this --> hides contents of cabs, but gives contrast. These would be a focal point, so would need to place them only in key spots. Don't love these particular designs, but the possibilities would be endless.

Retractable doors on pet feeding cabinet.

Corian would make it easier to clean up & avoid wood rotting. Saw some with marble slabs. Putting it in the end of a cab means it could be more shallow than in the front face of the cab.

And our cats NEEDa sleeping spot like this. Put a garage door on it for other uses. Could be under our table.

Down side to built in bowls like this is that cabinet would get wet & dirty. Shelf arrangement is a bit less custom, but easier to line it & keep it clean.

Advantage of this pet feeding arrangement is that it would accommodate any size of pet (resale).

Food drawer above food bowl is lined to hold cat food. Above counter spigot to fill water bowl means no bending!!! We NEED that too!!!

NEED pet feeding station like this near our table. Make it with a garage type door so that it can be used for something else later.
