If I had to have double sink I'd do this one. I like that the center divider doesn't take up a lot of space and is very low. It would make cleaning my large pan easy to clean.

Ok. I'm definitely transitional in my taste. I like to visit cottage style, but want the practicality and warmth of kitchens like this. Fussy details are not me. Give me Craftsman style. Amish clean lines appeal to me as well.

Tiny dishwasher just enough for a days worth of dishes. I'll keep that in mind. Better then rinsing dishes because I run the DW every 3 or 4 days.

Compact kitchen with countertop space. I usually like counter on either side of stove, but this would work well enough.

Stainless steel countertops, as used in professional kitchens. I like how seamless this one looks. "Maintenance: Stainless steel can be cleaned with a mild detergent, or use baking soda or vinegar diluted with water." However! Stainless steel "is not for the perfectionist". It shows fingerprints, marks, and dings.

Red cabinets. Wood "backsplash". Warm brown counters. Combined, makes a comforting kitchen to spend time in.

Lots of counter and open shelves either side of stove. Practical. I like how the colors of products and accessories pop against the white.

The oldest trick in the book: Paint the cabinets a vintage color and replace the hardware. The rustic island makes it all look intentionally shabby chic.

Chalk board the fridge. Pot rack over gas stove (sigh, is there anything more yummy?). Extra storage via furniture.

Backsplash ties the cabinets together. Cabinets are interesting because there are 3 colors. Natural wood, soft green, and cream. This is an interesting kitchen and makes me happy.
