A small bar ref with bead-board under bar. We will have cabinets, as in existing space, but could mimic the kitchen style? This ref has creative shallow storage at jutting end of bar, possibly a good spot for a few horses from our Swedish horse collection. The sides facing the entry and facing the bar zone would ideally store books.
Example of Moulding for Dining, etc. We would paint it lightest blue. I also like the drapes. Goal for the Dining Room is to be a formal Swedish summerhouse style. This is an excellent example. This is also a good ref. of use of wallpaper under the moulding. Wallpaper would pose a small challenge when it reached the kitchen bar wall. If we use wallpaper in the Dining Room perhaps we leave it off that Kitchen bar wall?
We bought two of these lights for the dining room to be hung over the table.

wallpaper as possible alternative to light painted walls in Dining?
possible moulding choice?
(Master Bath) we need some kind of simple, or vintage, wall-mounted sink to be hung on the wall that shares plumbing with Madeleine's shower/tub. Then we need 2 (his and hers) medicine cabinets; one above and one to the left on the other wall. We will need to build a custom storage cabinet beneath, and lighting. We could wainscot in this room to tie it to the adjoining bathroom?
Master Bath. A slim, deep claw foot tub, although a found one would do nicely. The location of the faucet and shape of the tub are correct for my ideal scenario in our location extending from the left wall and under the window, as long as setting the plumbing in the middle of the room is not significantly more expensive. In that case we would face it the other way. Tub must have hand-held shower option.
open kitchen upper shelves, this is what I envision for open shelves. In our kitchen the space that is above them is closed here, ours would be closed cabinets arranged symmetrically with the open shelf widths. NOTE: we need to have a couple of closed upper cabinets for cereal, tea, coffee storage and spice storage. The spices could be in shallow racks on back of door?
bar similar to our through-range pass-through. Interesting way to mount the counter, nice detail on the face of the lower part. The supports are a bit large and do not allow for swiveling knees, etc. ours would be more petite, our space is also not this wide. Ours would also be cupboards like the existing site. To the left of this is where the return would project into the dining room.
(kitchen) Upper Cabinets go to ceiling, although ours would be a combination of mostly open shelves and some closed storage, with closed storage at the very top, similar to existing Kitchen, but symmetrically lined up with upper cabinet/shelf widths. Also, note the Moulding where the cabinet joins the ceiling. We will carry moulding from Dining into Kitchen, although we have yet to determine exact profile. This one is possibly a bit heavy for our space.
