Because Deb is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, the baking center counter to the left of the dishwasher was lowered so she could roll pie crusts and work on bread doughs in comfort. “I love it because you can really lean into stuff with the lower counter,” she says.
“Egg of an hour, bread of a day, a wife of twenty years” … or something like that. Crusty artisan bread should be eaten as soon after baking as possible. Commercial sliced bread is best stored somewhere cool, but not cold, and sealed against any wandering pests. Bulky countertop bread bins take up prep space, and fridge storage can actually accelerate staleness, so consider a bread drawer with a cover and an insulating pad in the base.
This might be a good idea for a stool to give you a few inches up to those tough to reach cabinets. Guess it would have to have rollers to support a person.
Good idea to store plastic containers.
This would work as well to store pans and lids together. Shallow drawers.
Nice to have the lids with the pans. Good idea.
What a good idea.to have a cup drawer. 7 or 8 inches deep - keep the cups right where you need them.
I definitely like the appliance garage. I hate leaving the Keurig out all the time.
I definitely want an induction cooktop.
The warming drawer would be a nice addition in the kitchen.
Counter depth refrigerator looks nicer.
Having two sinks is not a bad idea either, if you have the space. My husband is left handed and I am right handed. This would happily take care of all our issues.
I like the idea of a prep sink. My husband always wants the sink when I am prepping food. And a disposal in it would be very nice.
Love the backsplash.
