Backyard Design Elements/Ideas
**More for my own notes and to get an idea of style, I'll probably do something similar similar type design in the creek relating to the stone. Perhaps not so chunky/stacked on the side walls, doesn't really occur like that in nature. I like the creek bed though. Not necessarily convinced on the hastas, prefer less of a "landscaped" look and to feel like you just discovered this hidden creek.
**Again, more for my own notes and to get an idea of design style. As it relates to the pool, this looks great. The elements I like: -Unique waterfall feature -Pool Deck -The Japanese Maple (or similar mood) bordering the pool adds a relaxation element. -The corner stairs in the pool -Natural privacy I can almost envision this pool at an angle in the upper yard , entering the stairs from the south east end of the pool. The natural privacy is sufficient, not over done. The japanese maple would lend well leading into the slope going down to the lower part of yard into the patio/cooking area (with some creative touch to transition the top to the bottom).
Stairs
Didn't mention a hot tub before, but if this level of eye catching could be accomplished without sacrificing other elements, would love this as optional add on in future years.
