These floors are custom throughout the house. We used a Red Oak (grade 2 with more knots etc.) then a 3 part stain - including a first water based coat to pop the grain in a red-purple, and then went over it with a triple black wiped quickly and then sealed with 3 coats of Swedish Finish.

The hardwood floors are 7” White Oak Plank flooring, with a French-bleed edge and a hard wax finish (in lieu of a traditional stain & poly).
