here again is a different colored countertop from wall to island. nothing seems pulled together with the two different tops. the island cabinet is white but the wall cabinets are cream, that might be the issue. maybe there's something else in the room that has light gray in it. Must figure gray black white, can't go wrong mixing them.

the upper glass cabinets look nice. a darker gray countertop might have helped.

The aluminum/glass lamps look good. They have a dark countertop along the wall and light on the island. the dark seems better.

if brushed aluminum is going out, I have to say, it seems to go with any color even varying shades of white. I didn't think it would looks so great with white but this pic looks good.

from looking at this I think the tile needs to be gray if the cabs are white. and if the cabs are gray then the tile needs to be white.

this photo tells me that I won't like cream colored cabinets and white appliances. so it's either gray or white but a white that come close to the cabinet shade of white.
