our current design does have the prep sink on the peninsula so would look something like this

this one has a smaller overhang which would preserve space on the DR side but might not be enough for a clip on high chair

this one has supporting legs - might make sense since we were planning to have 1 stool at the end as well but not sure there will be enough room given length/position of column
