The reeded glass upper cabinets look good, as does the open shelf on the left. This layout would work well in our dining room wine bar.

The use of wood surfaces is really good in this kitchen. The jalousie windows on the left look nice. Maybe we should consider a jalousie window over the kitchen sink?

This is from a kitchen design book, and is one of my favorite photos. I like the color and grain of the granite island top, the use of small tiles in the backsplash, and the clean lines of the cabinetry. I don't care for the cabinet hardware (too bulky), and the cabinet wood grain is a little to bleached out.

I like how the redwood slab is integrated into the island. That's the only thing I like in this photo.
