cold rolled 1/4 steel filled with aggregate.
BEAUTIFUL! Love the gravel against metal. What material is the metal? 1 Like 2 Comments PRO Robert Leeper Landscapes It is cold-rolled steel. 1/4" thick, I think. You can also use Corten steel, which will last longer, but is more expensive

RO Robert Leeper Landscapes They can be ordered from a Dallas company called Jackson Pottery. They are made in the area, and are durable, long-lasting concrete (good luck to the thief who thinks they can take these + pro tip: you will need a crew and dolly to move the bigger ones) and they come in lots of modern forms. My favorite finish is the "limestone" which is white, I also love the raw concrete. If you can't make it to Dallas, call and they will let you know who in your area carries their products. Enjoy. .http://www.jacksonpottery.com/Category/Cast-Stone-Contemporary-Planters/70

Mostly you are seeing Mexican wire grass (aka feather grass), but the bronze ones in the background are Little Blue Stem, which starts out blue in the spring, and then turns coppery in the fall. There are some muhly grasses in there too but hard to see.
