Size comparison. Maybe slightly taller walls so a 4 post lift will work( 12 ft ceiling). Width- need room to walk in front and back of cars.

Nice feel. Uses two wide overhead doors. But where do they retract to?

Note the curtain that comes down to hide the overhead door. But where does the overhead door go?? I don't like the tracks of an overhead door.

With storage lifts, you unfortunately end up looking more utilitarian rather than displaying your cars. Maybe if I compromised and made the storage garage 3 cars wide, I could install one storage lift, and display the other two spaces? If I ever needed more storage, I could install another lift.

Interesting way to use timbers, but to lighted it up and make it brighter.

Mural'd walls is interesting. Maybe I could do family photos like the Illinois farm? or old pictures?

Interesting look. Not sure I'd want all wood siding like this? Maybe, maybe not. I figure I'll have standing seam metal roof. Cupola's or one large Cupola with windows would look nice.

L shape of the shop. I can't afford all that stone, but the doors are nice. Should we do an angled entry in the corner like this?
Window from woodshop to car storage?
