Thank you so much for the nice compliment! Shower lighting can be tricky sometimes especially when there's a shower head (like here) that extends so far into the space. Also it's important to remember that electrical codes require water rated fixtures. All that being said, we prefer one of two manufactures in the recessed lighting department depending on budget. The first and most expensive is a Iris P3MR w/ a E3SRC (3") trim from Copper Lighting. This recessed light is low voltage using an MR16 bulb that provides clean white light and is fully adjustable to direct the angle of light in almost any direction. The the other (less expensive), also from Copper Lighting, is Halo's H1499ICAT w/ the 1951PS (4") trim. This fixture also using the MR16 low voltage bulb, however, the bulb itself is much closer to the finished ceiling surface, thus you might get more glare when looking up. Honestly, if the light itself isn't a focal point, the Halo works fine. Can't offer much about surface mount fixtures as there's an unlimited number and styles available.
