INTERIOR CABINET: Simple shelving for cabinets on either side of the stove and above the refrigerator - shelving only. Nothing fancy. Lots of holes so the height of the shelves can be flexible.

INTERIOR CABINETS: Divide the 18 inches between the stove and refrigerator in two. SIde by stove will be for vertical stuff - baking sheets, cutting boards, etc. The side by the refrigerator (smaller side) will be this pull out for spices and such.

INTERIOR CABINETS: Microwave set up for the space to the south of the stove at floor level. Key to have power supply behind microwave. With power supply in back of microwave cubbie.

FLOORS: 12 x 24 gray slate in brick pattern. Ask Jeff about direction - north to south or east to west. I think they should lay east to west

DOOR WITH GEARROOM: Jeff, can the door between the kitchen and gear room be a barn door hung with rod iron hardware on the kitchen side with a chalk board as the door? Do you like the idea?

WING WALL: I know this may seem a little cluttering but it's practical. Shelves would match the shelves on the west wall in thickness and cherry stain to match the living.room it would be shelves all the way up - see photo tith the barn door - white background, cherry shelves - clean.

This is the set up I am looking for but: Pocket doors with almost all glass doors to let as much light in as possible. See doors in this idea book . Shelf will match the shelves of the west kitchen wall. two inches or so thick, plain and stained cherry to match the living room. Simple. Windows to the ceiling.
