Most others require transformers which are either plug in type (need a receptacle) or hardwire type. Please be aware that just because the units are low voltage LED that does not mean that you can just use any wire you wish. Check the specs carefully or discuss this with your electrician. Graham

Reply to: I used the LeGrande Adorne undercounter lighting system for lighting and outlets. It is a modular system. The track fits just under the cabinets so there are no outlets in the tile backsplash. There are also usb outlets, phone or tablet holders, and Bluetooth speakers available. It was a splurge, but so worth it.

Reply to: Lots of options on the market for lighting as long as you have access to run the wiring through the walls or into the cabinets and out - and somewhere to put the transformer (if low voltage). Power strips are generally the least seen option for electrical. You can enter under cabinet lighting in the Houzz search bar and see photos of various options/treatments. WAC lighting makes some good options for the lights.

Reply to: Love my angled plugmold which I have on my perimenter cabinets as well as island. I also love my Kichler Linear Lighting. It adds a soft and elegant ambiance.
