Even tho this house is white, the wood rails and straight iron spindles look very nice Actually, I really like this. Mid-range floor, grey walls, white trim on all doors floorboards and stairs and the railing and spindles look great.

This looks very dramatic with the white contrasts, glazed wood and patterned carpet. This looks so much more dramatic that a normal staircase
