Maybe a different wall tile with earthy tones? MWL: I like this toned down shower--compared with the ones you sent me pictures of on 9/29. I know you're thinking of the rocks on the floor, so you wouldn't do rocks on the wall, but the overall look is not so busy.

MWL: I know you are talking dark...but it's possible that your contractor or HOA will require tile floors in the bathroom. If so, I like the white and gray. I think it looks modern. And I can picture this same color scheme with dark wood cabinets. Or, this would work since you will have white cabinets in the kitchen. (Also, for your guest bath, white is nice for a small bath.)

WEL: For the bathroom I do actually like dark cabinets and white counter with black faucets I think. Bathroom lighting is something I definitely want to get right. MWL: Actually for your small bathroom this may be exactly the way you want to go. Glass door, dark wood, and white tiled floor (if you have to go tile.) If you go dark wood, you're going to end up putting a rug on it, and that will have to look classy on dark wood...so what kind of rug. SO many decisions ;)

WEL: This look with the white sink and wood drawyers looks cool. Not sure about whether or not it would clash with a dark dark floor.. MWL: I think the dark floor and dark cabinet works here because the walls and shower tile is lighter colored.

WEL: I like all glass doors to shower flush with the floor with a smaller divider perhaps. This is nice, but won't work with a tub. So, this idea would be for guest bath. I wonder how much room you will have for the door to open out, or if you will need a sliding door. OR just a half door like the one featured in the picture just right of this one.

WEL: I think I like white sinks but not sure. MWL: white sinks mean keeping them really clean after you shave, but they definitely look nice with dark cabinets
