For the drawer to the right of stove, we could do half knife storage and the rest divided up for spatulas, spoons, etc.

This is perfect for below the oven/warming drawer. I like dividing the drawers, so you don't have everything piled on top of each other. You can see what you have at a glance. This idea is also good for cutting boards too.
