So Brian, we need to soften the front entrance. The trim around the windows and the structure of the front door are perfect. The beams we chose for the front of the entrance are too rough - out of context with the trim. The door itself also feels out of place. Let's try this door and windows, with the current framing (peak rather than round), and pick some beams that carry that same 'craftsman' look forward. I'll try to find another picture to help convey the overhang.
