Can't tell if the fireplace is visible to two rooms, but that would be cool

The structure is so solid, masculine, and dark; and the fire seems so warm. I love the contrast between the fireplace and the color of the flame as well as the contrast between the fireplace and the room (which isn't to my taste) that contains it. I think this fireplace could and would work better in a more pleasant room.
