Kitchen

What I like in a kitchen:
- Cabinetry that reaches up to the ceiling and has the look of furniture at the base of the cabinets where feasible (refer to Andrew Roby General Contractors or Liz Schupanitz Designs pictures here as an example)
- Painted shaker-style cabinets in the colour scheme of white/cream/grey-ish
- Prefer light coloured / thick counter tops, but important to limit visibility of crumbs, etc. at the same time
- Sink/dishwasher on the island
- Pendant lighting over the island
- Lots of seating at the island to promote comfortable gathering
- Anything that can be used to hide the look of clutter/appliances is ideal (ex - hidden garbage/recycling bins, paneled appliances, organized pantry solutions etc.)
- Hidden vent over the stove
- Heated floors, where possible (not sure if this is an option???)
