Reply to: Hi Caroline, Your plumber is giving you the wrong advice... your bath is much bulkier than the wash basin or even the WC, so better where it is now - I think you are stuck with this layout, unless, as others suggested above, you turn the bath into a shower cubicle. If the floor joists are running from back to front (parallel with your current bath) then your builder might be able to run a new soil vent pipe in between two joists, thus you could have your roll top bath... Just a thought. Irina

Reply to: I would remove the bath completely and design the room with a large two person shower at the window end. A 400mm square shower head ceiling mounted. I'd put the controls at the window end and probably fit a small stud wall in front to hide the pipes. Well considered shelving on this stud wall would work for me and a large glass access full height installed I would want to make the room feel wider than it is by having the window wall as a feature wall, installing a large mirror above the sink and toilet and changing the grey colour scheme to a white I think that would be a good start.
