The hood on this is and would go well with a tiled wall. Having the cabinets on the wall contrast with the additional casework is nicely done here as well, we have a great chance to achieve the same thing with the cabinetry along the window. We could utilize cabinet space along the dining room wall similar to the portion of cabinet on the right. That space would be a good spot for appliances and pantry items.
I like the counter in this. However wood counters require a bit of a commitment. Also the cab doors are semi traditional without being heavily ornate.
