This full overlay kitchen needs some faux edge boards between the drawer stacks and the cabinets, just to round out the edges a bit.

Dark Island white cabinets. Not my favorite hardware though. Back-splash is awful.

Interesting way to break up the white with panel doors being in the dark color of the island.

These doors are an interesting option. A little fancier than shaker proper. Also a good job of making it look a bit like inset cabinets without being inset. This is probably my favorite on the door and drawer style.

Inset shaker doors, dark island. Big negative on the backsplash. The island is pretty though but I worry about the maintenance on a wood island.

This is a full overlay kitchen that I really like the style of the cabinets. I don't care for the hardware, but the shaker-ish doors fit well here.

Full 5 piece drawers up to the belt line, inset cabinets all around. I like how the double think countertop edge creates a sense of grandness. Don't love the white hood or the pulls.

Smaller kitchen with 8 foot ceilings. This is probably closer to what ours would look like even though ours should end up quite a bit larger.

Another kitchen that's close. Apron Sink is not our style, but otherwise this is pretty gorgeous. Inset cabinets with bronze/black pulls. I also like the lights above the island

This kitchen is close to what we like, although the round posts have no business here. Don't like the pulls, I think they ruin the cleanness of the lines.

I like this more than straight white subway tiles. This kitchen is may be either full overlay or inset, but it's hard to tell.

Really like the color spectrum of this kitchen. Beaded Inset detail is a little too ornate for my tastes.

Really like the island in this kitchen, although the little 5 bottle wine rack is a bit of a joke. Don't love the sink hardware however.

These cabinets are completely flat. They're an interesting option versus a more basic Shaker. Pretty sure we're leaning away from this.

More white on dark, but do not like the bead-board. Doubtful we'd get a butcher block island. Not interested in the apron sink.
