Have you had it for very long? How is it going? Any regrets? Is it going to be on the island too? Thank you so much for sharing your story and for sending these photos. Do you cook a lot? Oil stains especially around the cooktop? Guess I could put some cutting boards there..:) This is an expensive decision and I want to love my kitchen every day I walk in there and not regret whatever we choose, like we did before.

Reply to: I just ordered the silestone calacatta countertops for my kitchen reno. I'll be doing the same stone for my backsplash. Fingers crossed it turns out ok.

Reply to: I'd stick to the light grey ( that matches the veining) or white. I wouldn't do an accent on the backsplash, not with the calacatta countertop. Let the countertop be the star. I'm waiting for mine.... December. I didn't get a backsplash, as I'm waiting to see what it looks like first.
