This house has the same configuration as ours (L) I could see some variation of this with a wall of windows where the porch and second story (over it) are. The garage could be come a room with a wall of doors and then further down more garage?

This has the second story window and catwalk that I like, but maybe too many catwalks above. a much bigger house, obviously
