Fence

Hi Rick, Here is some inspiration for our fence. I will send separate email with photos of the location. Sound barrier (we are on a fairly busy country road) and visual privacy from the cars driving by are both important. We think 6 ft tall and approx 100 ft long. The combo of a poured concrete low wall with wood horizontal slats above it is both visually interesting and we're curious if that would provide more of a sound barrier. But we also like a full wood fence, without concrete. A lot of these pics have wood horizontal slats with 1/8 inch gaps but we wouldn't want the gaps. The pic by Deforest Architects is a good example of that. We are looking to have a dialogue about cost, any reccs for savings (materials, design), would be appreciated. Thanks! Liz
