RO LaBruyere Stone Crema Marfil is beautiful, but can stain easily. The bundle (matching slabs) used in this house came with a resin coating that makes it almost extremely stain resistant. It is rare, but ask the stone supplier if the slabs have a resin coating. I do like Dupont Bulletproof. It is water based and very easy to apply. Dupont recommends two applications for Crema Marfil. If you want the look of real Crema Marfil marble without the worry, look at Caesarstone Dreamy Marfil quartz. Quartz is virtually impermeable and Caesarstone is certified kosher.
