homework nook

The room's purpose would be Carrie's "study" - (her computer, bills, projects, etc) and the boys' homework area. Ideally, near the kitchen so I can monitor homework and have easy access. I'd like windows, maybe a cozy window seat style couch for reading (for the kids). I'd like a cabinet to store wrapping paper for non-Christmas time. It may make sense to combine this with the mudroom somehow - with space for their book bags. But, the kids do take off their shoes when they come in the house...so a place for the kids shoes & jackets by the garage would be nice.
