I like the door with with stone and shaker siding combination.

This is the brown metal roofing I like. The natural wood pillars are nice too. Perhaps, I like them more than the white trim because it looks more natural.

Design and character of the door to let a lot of light in. Although I don't need privacy since you can't see into our home from the street, I don't know that I would like that an unwanted person could see in.

This is very similar to our current house design, except it has the 3 dormers popping out of the room, the chimney on the end and a small covered porch.

These are more square shaped dormers for the same roofline with a covered porch that I like.

These dormers with the front door make me think of Doug's idea to add a master bedroom and bathroom over the bonus room and to move the front door / entryway.

This roofline is similar to ours. Would it be possible to add the "dormer" peaks over the existing windows to improve the overall facade design? I really like the aluminum roofing (if that's what it is) for the porch!

This porch seems similar to ours, where the front door is much higher than the base of the home. I like the stone and wonder if we make a change like this, if we would be able to use a more modern stone to complement the existing stone. I also like the pillars and railing.
